These plants are famous, not just for their fantastic, intricate white flowers, but also for the fact that they open in a time window narrow enough to visibly see, so you can literally watch the plant bloom. This plant was given to me about five years ago and it has done terribly for me. One year, I put it outside for the summer and some bugs found it and stripped it to almost nothing. I thought it was a goner, but it has come back a bit and gotten a good fat stem on it this year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"474\" height=\"632\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/gardenescapades.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG_0946.jpg?resize=474%2C632\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8848\" loading=\"lazy\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/gardenescapades.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG_0946-scaled.jpg?resize=768%2C1024 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/gardenescapades.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG_0946-scaled.jpg?resize=225%2C300 225w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/gardenescapades.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG_0946-scaled.jpg?resize=1152%2C1536 1152w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/gardenescapades.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG_0946-scaled.jpg?resize=1536%2C2048 1536w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/gardenescapades.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG_0946-scaled.jpg?w=1920 1920w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/gardenescapades.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG_0946-scaled.jpg?w=948 948w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/gardenescapades.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/IMG_0946-scaled.jpg?w=1422 1422w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 474px) 100vw, 474px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
The flowers of these plants are simply shocking.
