This appears to be Clivia nobilis blooming in the GHI love this rose (an arboretum seedling) when it blooms. It smells great and the bees love it. I need to cut it back as soon as blooming is over.A wall of black locust trees at Lower Woodland Park–the fragrance was sweet and strongSinningia “Freckles” in the window at work–I am trying gesneriad seeds in the cups to the right.I’m so excited about this Pelargonium species blooming in the GH–it is a caudiciform plant that I’ve had for 7+ years and it has never bloomed before.Another view–you can see the leaves at the bottom of the frame.The yard looked pretty amazing in May, with iris blooming and the rhododendrons by the house exploding with color.A black locust blooming near work.I have more amaryllis (Hippeastrum) bulbs than I probably should, but the rewards are great.
